Health Services Excellence, Equity and Distinction (HSEED) Award
The Department of Health Services established the HSEED Award in 2016 to increase diversity in public health — including people who are LGBTQIA, veterans, community members of color, from lower income backgrounds, and/or experiencing disabilities.
Each year, the HSEED Award provides tuition support to an outstanding student from each of our eight degree programs (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral). Recipients are honored for their academic merit, diversity of experiences and backgrounds, and potential for leadership in public health.
On #HuskyGivingDay, your gift can add to the power of collective impact!
Thanks for your support in preparing future health practitioners, managers, and researchers to be leaders in improving the well-being of communities in our region and our world.
