At the College of Built Environments (CBE), we take pride in preparing our future leaders to be at the forefront in work around urbanization, globalization, climate resilience and sustainable development. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our focus has remained on ensuring that our students’ goals and educational experience are not compromised.
Last May, we launched the CBE Student Emergency Fund so that each student is able to successfully continue on their academic journey despite the ongoing crisis and the increased challenges that they and their families are facing. We raised $56,895 in 2020 and have provided financial assistance to over 165 students in need to date.
In 2021 we’ve continued to see high demand while our finite funding is rapidly shrinking.
This Husky Giving Day we invite you to give the gift of education to our students in need with a contribution to the CBE Student Emergency Fund!
Contributions to this fund are in direct support of undergraduate and graduate students across Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design & Planning. Generosity from friends like you helps CBE students with housing, living expenses, food, medical expenses, family care and materials to support them in their continued learning from home. By breaking down these financial barriers you help make certain that no student is forced to make a choice between their studies and their physical well-being.
