UW Law prepares the next generation of lawyers, scholars, leaders, activists and policymakers.
Donors like you help make the UW Law student experience the best it can be!
With your support, UW Law students will generate innovative solutions to real-world problems and play active roles in local and global change.
Help us create more opportunities for students by making a gift on Husky Giving Day, April 8, 2021!
Support real-world public service learning opportunities at UW Law:
The Public Interest Law Association (PILA) provides funding for students who commit to a summer of volunteer legal work with:
- Legal services offices
- Public interest organizations
- Social service agencies
- Nonprofit organizations
- Governmental agencies
- Tribal entities
A gift to PILA provides a direct, tangible impact for underrepresented people and causes. Increasing the number of students with this real-world experience benefits the entire legal community and the communities we live in.
Support Diverse Law Students in 2021:
With economic hardships continuing to rise in 2021, a gift to our Law Justice Scholarship can make all the difference to help ensure continued access to a world-class legal education for students from all backgrounds.
This fund allows us to recruit, nurture, and retain students from historically marginalized groups, removing the financial barrier that might have otherwise made law school unattainable.
Support UW Law’s Clinical Law Program Fund:
Law students gain first-hand legal experience through:
- Mock trials and competitions
- Pro bono opportunities
Through experiential learning, students may advocate for clients in litigation, negotiate or mediate disputes, advise entrepreneurs and companies and develop policy.
Help UW Law students graduate practice-ready from day one with the capacity to put law into action by supporting this fund.
UW Law's talented student advocates need your support!
