Kick-starting new fellowships for UW MCB graduate students!
Molecular and Cellular Biology is an exciting joint graduate program between the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. We have successfully supported 5 cohorts that consist of more than 140 talented individuals who are conducting research in labs at UW, Fred Hutch and other partner institutions across our nation, including Seattle Children's, Benaroya Research Institute, Pacific Northwest Research Institute and the Allen Institute. Our graduate students are the heart of our program and the answer to some of the world’s most challenging biological problems.
In 2020, we celebrated 25 years of being a program! We’ve helped over 400 alumni become world-renowned problem solvers and through it all MCB has created a wonderful community that has inspired us to improve the program every year. We know that this would not be possible without the help of fellowships that provide professional development opportunities and financial support for these talented students.
We invite you to join us in building two new student fellowships that will have an exponential impact on future MCB researchers. Please consider making a gift today to the MCB program and help us create a legacy that will make an impact for the next 25 years.
